The Committee of the Council of Ministers for Digitalisation has adopted the law on the mObywatel app. Changes for foreigners include:
- generalising the use of the mLegitymacja (mobile student ID) service by schoolchildren and students, including foreigners, through direct access to mLegitymacja in the mObywatel app
- extension of the mObywatel app to include a mobile ID for Ukrainian citizens (Diia.pl)
- making digital documents handled in the mObywatel app legally equal to analogous documents in traditional, non-electronic form, including Diia
The above changes will allow users of the mObywatel app to access their documents and handle official matters through a single application, which will greatly simplify contact with authorities.
