The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in favour of speeding up the procedure for employing seasonal workers from Asia and Africa in Poland

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is working on speeding up procedures related to hiring seasonal workers from Asia and Africa in Poland. In order to achieve this, it is planned to open a Polish consulate in Bangladesh and increase the number of staff at the consulate in India. Perhaps an embassy will also be opened in Bangladesh in the future. The earliest opening of a Polish consulate and possibly an embassy could be in late autumn. At present, Bangladesh is under the Polish diplomatic and consular offices in India.

In 2022, 2,697 work permits were issued for citizens from African countries and 56,738 permits for citizens from Asian countries in the Mazowieckie Voivodeship itself.
